JULIE'S KINDERGARTEN GRAD

Interesting story. So, we actually missed the graduation
ceremony all together (communication error from the school).
But we made it to the field day, and they did a little celebration of
Julie anyway...since we'd made the trip and all!! We'll
have a ceremony with hat and tassel and diploma here at home.

Elly had fun too.

OUR GARDEN

Here's a pic of how great our garden looked when we got home from CO.

I love how tall my lilies got. Look at them. They're huge.

MAIFEST

The town where we live is a very German town. So naturally, we
celebrate with lots of festivals. Oktobre fest, Wurstfest, etc.
We've had a lot of fun going to all these events, and Maifest
was no exception. We enjoyed the carnival, parade, old
fashioned games, vendors and funnel cake!! Here are a
bunch of pics to commemorate the weekend...

one small happy family

dropping clothes pins in a bottle
washing clothes the old fashioned way

playing lawn darts with corn cobs and feathers

potato sack races

trying to roll an old wagon wheel rim with a stick...not easy

eating free ice cream

gathering candy at the parade

wishing mom wasn't too cheap to let us ride on the train

surviving the torrential downpour at the carnival.
We didn't mind, it meant we didn't
have to wait in line for the rides!!!

hanging out with our friend Christa who flew in from CA to play too

going home after one exhausting day!!!

T-BALL

Julie decided to try out T-ball this summer.
Her team name
is the Cheetos:
(you can see why).
We missed the first game because of her
'broken arm' incident, and the next 2 games
because of vacation. But we're back on
track now and ready to tear up the field.
"GO CHEET
OS!!"

BALLET BEAUTY

Julie joined a ballet class in hopes
of meeting some new friends.
She thought the class was boring
compared to the ones she had done in JCT,
but kept going anyway
. =)
Here are some pics of her final recital.
