IT'S A BOY

The powers that be tell us we're having a boy this go round. I'll post ultrasound pics later...

TOOTH NEWS

Two great events occurred this week at our house. Julie lost her first tooth, and Elly visited the dentist. Our girls are growing up!

Here's Julie in a t-shirt we made for her to wear the next day.

Here's Elly NOT biting anyone (for a change). Hee hee

EASTER

We had a wonderful Easter this year. The girls were beautiful inside and out. We spent the week re-tracing the events of Christ's life and discussing what He was doing His last week on Earth. We died eggs, hunted eggs, and opened candy filled eggs. We had Easter lunch at Kay and Charles house with Mimi, Vicki, and Bill in toe.

Girl Scout Patch Ceremony

Julie's girl scout troop did their patch award ceremony the other day. Each girl received all the patches they've been working on so far this school year. Being as we probably will never do Girl Scouts again...we made a big deal out of these ones. Way to go Jules!

PURIM

This year we decided to celebrate the Jewish Holiday of Purim. It's a remembrance of Ester's role in God saving her people from the evil Haman. We had costumes, said the blessings, acted out the scene, and finished with "wine" (grape juice) and Hamantashen cookies.
